Yeah, before you criticize somebody, you should walk a mile in their shoes. Then you're already a mile away, and you've got their shoes.

Seriously, that makes me think too. That's an interesting angle on things. Because I always try to see things from other people's viewpoints, and sometimes that just makes everything more complicated. I believe I do it to get more of the truth of the situation, but maybe it also waters it down and muddies up my truth.
