Anything we can make fun of Homeland Security (aka: das Vaterland beschuetzen - how come that sounds familiar?)

This one here is a good one, even though I have to admit that it is a hoax.

Infrared Fart Hoax

The interesting lesson we can learn here is that we don't even have to be right to make somebody look bad. Not that somebody pretending to fart and being caught on Homeland security cameras is particularly ridiculing HLS.

What is used is the fact that pretty much everybody now already believes that HLS is ineffective and a joke, so another joke is easily added to the menu without much reflection.

What I just realize the real scary thing is, is that we don't openly laugh about HLS, but still take our shoes off in front of the masters - uhh - public servants.
