If you have ever been in Scientology and had/have kids then you probably heard about the Delphi Academy. This is a national Scientology organization geared to the education of the kids of scientologists but to a bigger extent also to recruit new members for the Church of Scientology.
This is obviously never openly said. Instead this school is sold as a superior academic institution so much better than anything else out there.
I have to admit, after being declared a suppressive person - the scientology arch enemy - I still had the idea that the educational part of it was good, so I sent my son to Delphi. Obviously I did not tell them that I am an SP - I am not but that's what their church declared me to be - and became a very good member of the community.
Until my SPdome came out and my son was kicked out. Now that I had a chance to try another school it does not appear that Delphi is really that much better than anything else out there on the planet. Maybe just the opposite. This dogmatic clinging to the misunderstood word seems to make them miss a lot of other things.
I also found info in the net that would indicate that many of the claimed accomplishments of Delphi graduates are - how shall I say - - - lies?
However, this part I have not verified personally, so it's hearsay and not admissible in court.
But all this only as the introduction to the fact that there seems to be somebody hwo really blows the top of that whole setup - apparently an insider turned outsider similar to me. He describes his adventures on the website The Truth about Delphi Academy and I am eagerly following how his story unfolds.
